West Burlington, Iowa 4th of July Extraordinaire

Jul 4, 2017 6:00am

Tuesday, July 4th -- The annual Fourth of July celebration by the city of West Burlington is the premiere event of the area. Plan to stay the day! Start off the morning with a pancake breakfast, put on by and in the West Burlington Fire Department, and end the day with the best fireworks show in Southeast Iowa -- with phenomenal music all evening, both before and following the fireworks! Come to the 100 block of Broadway Street and enjoy the live music, fireworks, food and a variety of other goodies from vendors, and other surprises. There are two parades: a kid's parade and a big parade. If you would like to be in the parade, set up a craft show booth, or participate in the bike races, keep an eye out for entry forms on the web site listed and then download and fill them out. Return entry forms to West Burlington City Hall at 122 Broadway Street in West Burlington, Iowa. See you there! This fantastic event is free and open to all; donations are appreciated. For entry forms, a schedule for the day, and new or changing information, periodically check out: https://www.westburlington.org/index.php/2013-02-18-09-06-50/july4th-celebration
